Abstract submissions
Thank you to everyone that submitted an abstract for HISCON 2026.
Abstract notifications will be sent in early April 2026
Guidance for submitters
- All abstracts must be limited to a maximum of 250 words (excluding title and author information)
- You must obtain permission from all authors before submitting an abstract
- For all accepted abstracts the presenting author must register and pay to attend the conference to present their work.
- All submissions must be completed by midnight on 17 March 2026. You can submit an incomplete abstract and finalise it at a later date, providing your complete submission is made by 17 March 2026.
Poster presentations
- If your abstract is accepted for poster presentation, you will be required to submit a PDF version of your poster for the digital poster book and produce an A0 size portrait poster to display at the conference.
- All poster abstract presenters are required to attend the event in-person and are expected to attend the poster viewing reception from 17.30 -19.00 on Tue 23 June 2026.
Oral presentations
- A limited number of abstracts will be selected for oral presentation at the conference
- Oral presenters will be required to prepare a Slideshow presentation and present their work in-person.
