Melissa Rochon

Melissa Rochon is the Trust Lead for SSI Surveillance, Research & Innovation, Surveillance and Innovation Unit, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. She has been on a number of national committees for SSI prevention, surgical wound healing, and the use of digital images in wound care. Her current projects include research projects include examining the barriers and enablers for surveillance and interventions to prevent SSI (Target Wound Infection study), and a multi-centre project introducing a proactive surgical wound surveillance programme using a progressive web app (Isla).
