| Dr Alan Beswick is a principal scientist at HSE's laboratory in Buxton, Derbyshire. He has a strong interest in airborne disinfection, germicidal UV and air cleaning technologies and has contributed to recently developed British and European standards on UV and airborne disinfection testing. His past work includes decontamination projects for several Government departments and also for various private companies. Also, related biosafety research and publications. Alan has been a member of the Sage-EMG working group since April 2020 and has contributed to several of its rapid reviews prepared for Government since that time. |
