The learning outcomes for this self led eLearning course focus on organisational and behavioural aspects of infection prevention and control.
Dr. Paul Chadwick is Honorary Associate Professor at the UCL's Centre for Behaviour Change and a practicing Consultant Clinical and Health Psychologist. He works on the development of interdisciplinary approaches to research and practice in behaviour change.
Sara Mumford is Director of Infection Prevention and Control, Deputy Medical Director and Consultant Microbiologist at Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust (MTW). Sara studied medicine at St Bartholomew’s hospital and did her specialist training at Charing Cross and St George’s Hospitals and Ashford Public Health Laboratory.
Professor Elaine Cloutman-Green is a Consultant Clinical Scientist working within Infection Prevention and Control and as Lead Healthcare Scientist for a world renowned paediatric hospital. She holds an Honorary Professorship with UCL and was awarded the British Empire Medal as part of the New Years Honours in 2021 for services to healthcare.
Raheelah leads the Health Management and Leadership and the Innovation and Change teaching on the Health Management MSc programme at City, University of London. She also contributes to the Master of Public Health Programme.
Raheelah is a recipient of the NIHR Fellowship in Knowledge Mobilisation and co-investigator on the ESRC/UKRI project to address AMR in low resource settings (ASPIRES).
Head of Modelling and Evaluation, Healthcare Associated Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance, UKHSA. Julie has worked in the field of modelling and health economics of HCAI and AMR for over 20 years. She heads the team of mathematical modellers and health economists at UKHSA who conduct work across a portfolio of HCAI and AMR projects.
Helen Dunn is a Consultant Nurse IPC & Director of Infection Prevention Control (DIPC) at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, London. Helen completed a Certificate in Infection Control at Oxford Brookes, her Masters in Infection Management at Imperial and is currently completing her Fellowship for the Academy of Higher Education.
Helen has worked in IPC since 2005 and has been at GOSH for 9+ years. Her main interests are in vascular access, education and behaviour change.
Annette Jeanes is an independent Consultant Infection Control Nurse. She was the Infection Control lead at the Nightingale Hospital in London for the duration of the initial and subsequent Covid-19 response. Prior to that Annette worked in the NHS as the Director of Infection Prevention & Control and Consultant Nurse Infection Control at University College London Hospitals.
