Dr Alasdair Hubbard

Alasdair is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and his research interest are currently based around AMR and development of novel antimicrobials. His various project include the trajectories of evolution of antimicrobial resistance in clinically relevant bacteria with a focus on direct translation into prescription policy, discovery and development of novel antimicrobials from snake venom, including the discovery of novel targets for the development of antibiotics, and the emergence and spread of antimicrobial resistance in different environments.
