Trainee Committee Roles

Are you passionate about infection prevention and control? Do you want to shape the future of healthcare infection training and represent the voice of trainees within a leading professional society?

We are inviting applications for the roles of Chair, Vice Chair, and Regional Representatives on the HIS Trainee Committee.

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the development of education and professional support for trainees in infection-related specialties. The committee works closely with the HIS Council and other HIS committees to ensure the perspectives of trainees are represented in society activities.

Available Positions:

  • Chair (also a member of HIS Council)
  • Vice Chair / Engagement representative
  • Committee members – we currently have vacancies for Regional Representatives based in Scotland, London, Southwest, and the Midlands

Eligibility:

  • Applicants must be current Trainee members of HIS
  • Regional representative applicants should be based in Scotland, London, Southwest, or the Midlands.
