In light of the current COVID-19 pandemic, we have taken the difficult but necessary decision to cancel the HIS media training course. Delegates will be contacted and will receive a full refund of the course fees.
In order to bridge the knowledge gap, former BBC journalist Mark Brealey has created a freely accessible 20 minute webinar.
This focused, expert-led training course is open to only 12 attendees. The content will equip participants with the skills they need to get key messages across simply, clearly and honestly. This course has been designed with a particular emphasis on TV and radio interview techniques, for those in senior infection prevention and control roles, who may need to represent their organisation in the media, for example DIPC's (or equivalent). Expect a challenging, fun and extremely useful day.
Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
After the course each attendee will receive:
- Handout booklet
- Wallet-sized top tips card
- Copy of radio/TV interviews
- 12 months free phone-based support (including interview dry-runs)
- Training certificate
The course will be delivered by former BBC journalist Mark Brealey. Mark and his team have decades of media experience between them and specialise in health and the NHS.
This event has been approved by the Royal College of Pathologists for 5 CPD credits.
